In today’s Daily Fix:A new report from German outlet Game Two is shedding some light on what happened with the Gollum game. Developers working for Daedalic Entertainment accuse the company of having “an atomsphere of fear” as well as paying low wages, forcing crunch on employees, and exploiting interns, among other allegations. In other news, developers from CD Projekt Red have formed a union, the Polish Gamedev Workers Union, after CDPR went through several layoffs this year. The layoffs saw about nine percent of the company’s workforce cut, across different teams. This new union joins several other groups at other developerscalling for union recognition, including groups at Avalanche Studios and Sega of America. And finally, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta is available to PlayStation 5 owners, and of course the cheaters and hackers are there, too. An X user posted videos of people blatantly using cheating software in the game.
